WAYS TO MAKE POPPIES
Firstly review the following: Is this an activity for small group or the whole centre? Is the activity for all ages or will you do something for different ages/ abilities. Are the creations going to be taken home or are they for a bigger display? How messy do you want the activity to be? What materials have you already got or do you need to get some?
Below are some options that are activities that focus on increasing the use of fine motor control which is so important for pre-school age children. See the link here for information on the stages of fine motor control using crayons to get to the tripod grasp needed for writing.
